During the recession, Activant Solutions' target market (Lumber and Building Materials retailers) struggled to stay afloat.
To encourage customer loyalty and engagement, the account manager, graphic designer, and I brainstormed to create an inspiring direct mail package including the use of purls, personalized Web sites, and a travel phone charger. To deliver compelling, usable tips, I consulted with industry experts and customers to write both the tip booklet and direct mail below. |

I was asked to write copy for a direct mail piece along with a series of emails to launch a new online event called Online Academy.
The free community event for customers had never been done before, and some were worried about turnout. The result of the campaign was a success, and they exceeded their attendee goals. |
